    • 1 tsp dried thyme
    • 1 tsp dried rosemary
    • 1 tsp dried parsley
    • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
    • 3½ cups vegetable stock
    • 1 cup quick-cooking barley
    • 1 can cannellini (white) beans, rinsed and drained
    • 3 cups kale, chopped
    • Salt & pepper to taste
